“Solo Leveling” is a South Korean web novel series by Chugong that has been adapted into a popular webtoon and light novel, and eventually an anime series produced by A-1 Pictures. The narrative focuses on Sung Jin-Woo, in a world where portals connect it to a realm filled with monsters and dungeons. Initially deemed as the weakest hunter, he swiftly transforms into a figure akin to a protagonist in a video game, where strength levels up with each encounter, evoking a sense of gratifying progression reminiscent of classic RPGs.
The allure of “Solo Leveling” lies not only in its captivating storyline but also in its innovative premise. The emergence of gates, unleashing hordes of menacing creatures, sets the stage for a thrilling spectacle similar to the grandeur of “Pacific Rim.” This infusion of sci-fi elements heightens the stakes, propelling the narrative forward with an exhilarating blend of action and intrigue.
Central to the series is Sung Jin-Woo’s evolution, a character arc with both depth and nuance. His transformation evokes parallels to the enigmatic Light Yagami from “Death Note,” as he grapples with newfound power and the moral implications it entails. The last episode very much showed this as he gains the title “Shadow Monarch” and the ability to bring the dead back to life as his “shadow army.” This juxtaposition of strength and darkness adds a layer of complexity to his character, elevating him beyond the confines of a typical protagonist.
While I thought the animation quality falls short of the visuals by its contemporaries like “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” or “Mob Psycho 100,” the discrepancy is mitigated by the sheer strength of its narrative, with its exciting plot twists and compelling character dynamics.
One area of contention, though, lies in the episodic endings, which often culminate in frustrating and anticlimactic cliffhangers. While effective in maintaining suspense, these abrupt conclusions annoy the hell out of me. Nevertheless, this minor flaw does little to detract from my overall enjoyment of the series.
When it comes to the series’ supporting characters, “Solo Leveling” showcases a diverse ensemble, albeit with less impact. While some secondary characters leave an impression, others fade into the background, their potential untapped. Yet, this is forgivable since this is just the first season.
In conclusion, “Solo Leveling” emerges as a captivating addition to the anime landscape, boasting a compelling narrative and memorable characters. Despite its minor flaws, it left me eagerly anticipating its second season and beyond. As the journey continues, “Solo Leveling” stands poised to captivate audiences with its potential and immersive world-building. I highly recommend it.
You can stream and watch Solo Leveling on Crunchyroll or Netflix if you are in the Philippines.
I absolutely loved this edition of Binibining Pilipinas and it may actually be the one of the best editions for me. What’s freaking insane is that it is the first time it was actually televised in real-time! And with no live audience too well…because Covid. Ahem. So, I have to talk about a few things this edition has offered us.
The Binibining Pilipinas 2021 was supposed to be the year 2020 edition but due to the pandemic, it was moved a year later which is the very first time the pageant was not held since it’s inception in 1964. However, Samantha Mae Bernardo, Binibining Pilipinas 2019 Second Runner-up and was a contestant of the supposed 2020th edition was appointed the Philippines’ representative to the 2020-2021 Miss Grand International earlier this year making her the only title holder to wear a 2020th sash! So many fun facts!
Another first for this edition is its all-female hosts with two former Binibining Pilipinas queens – Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray and 2016 Binibining Pilipinas Grand International and 2016 Miss Grand International First Runner-up, Nicole Cordoves. Catriona and Nicole not only made a Binibini history last night, they also did an incredible job that it’s hard to imagine them not doing this every single year moving forward!
The Stage: It looks amazing! It was simple and classy looking with its three gigantic led screens! Easier
The Opening: Donning yellow, orange and lime-green cocktails dresses, the girls dances a to a new Binibining Pilipinas song! It was catchy and they all looked absolutely amazing! The introduction was a sight to behold too, showing each Bibibini in their respective National Costumes! It was marvelous! The costumes are simply to die for! Why are we not seeing these kind of costumes in the international level though? Hmmm…
The board of judges are also a batch of impressive panel that includes Rajo Laurel, Maria Garcia, Dioceldo Sy, Benito Bengzon Jr, Pinky Webb, Enrique Gil, Miss International 2016 Kylie Versoza and the ever-so-beautiful actress Liza Soberano! Can I just say that Liza looked like a goddess last night!
First two set of awards:
Miss Friendship: Tagum City, Lesley Anne Ticaro Miss Talent: Bocaue, Bulacan, Vianca Louise Marcelo Miss Photogenic: Manila, Patrizia Mariah Garcia Miss Alagang Silka: Angeles, Pampanga, Ma. Francesca Taruc Jag Denim Queen: Masbate, Hannah Arnold Miss World Balance: Olongapo, Alexandra Faith Garcia Miss Ever Bilena: Batangas, Maureen Montagne Miss Piza Hut: Iloilo, Karen Laurrie Mendoza Manila Bulleting Readers Choice Award: Batangas, Mica Rosal
Last batch and some major awards:
Bb. Araneta City: Angeles, Pampanga, Maria Francesca Taruc Miss Creamsilk: Batangas, Maureen Montagne
The proceedings was fast! The top 12 were announced right away plus a Top 13th people’s choice voted via the Binibining Pilipinas app, and they paraded in Swimsuit and their beautiful Evening gown! It was such a glorious sight!
My favorites for the swimsuit round are: Maureen Montagne, Hannah Arnold and Meiji Cruz.
As for the Evening Gown, it was obviously Gabrielle Basiano with that presentation that totally nailed the round! Another one of my favorite for this round is Hannah Arnold with her baby pink gown ensemble and Graciella Lehman with her effortless pasarela!
As each finalists is called into the top 12/13, she will deliver a short message about her pandemic experience (this is almost similar to the opening speech in the Miss Universe during its 2018 and 2019 edition)
Here are my on the spot notes last night for each finalists!
Eastern Samar, Gabrielle Basiano – too short, prolly got nervous but very beautiful face.
Manila, Patrizia Mariah Garcia – reminds me of Aya Abesamis. Very simple message. Challenging governance…
Iloilo, Karen Laurrie Mendoza – Loved her accent! talks about mental illness is not a sign of weakness, you are heard, you matter – a really thoughtful and relevant message.
Oriental Mindoro, Graciella Lehman – talked about being a cabin crew and to be in the service of fellow Filipinos.
Angeles Pampanga, Francesca Taruc – to be more grateful and appreciate little things in life. Quick. Message was okayish.
Valenzuela, Meiji Cruz (Cat said Venezuela – a cute mistake) – loved her Pinoy accent, very good message. Unity, compassion together we can heal!
Albay, Jashmin Dimaculangan – very on point message!!! talks about Typhoon Ulysses during the pandemic
Cavite, Samantha Panlilio – very good communication skills, her family are from the tourism industry and how in perseverance we can survive this pandemic.
Quezon Province, Patricia Babista – being a frontliner, aims to face a new world with a healthier, braver and kinder human
Rizal Province, Honey Cartasano – loved her styling! regain her purpose thru volunteering in helping her kababayan!
Masbate, Hannah Arnold – As a forensic science graduate she wanted the country to invest on science and prevent another pandemic. Very good.
Batangas, Maureen Montagne – I witness firsthand the true beauty and strength of community. Siargao community pantry, together we can overcome any obstacle. Lovely messaging too! People’s Choice / Fan Vote
Cagayan de Oro – Misamis Oriental – Cinderella Fae Obeñita very good messaging! With her personality, I wonder why she missed the first cut in the first place…
Another segment is an interview with Miss International 2013 Bea Rose Santiago who’s battling a end-stage renal failure and she delivered a lovely message of hope to the girls and to us viewers! Get well soon, Bea!
Can I just talk about how amazing the Evening Gown presentation was? I mean, that’s international level of production! Each girl in the top 13 talks about their chosen gown and the symbolism it represents! So powerful!
Moving on to the ‘dreaded’ Q&A, it’s obvious that a lot of girls were nervous. Overall, I thought they all gave amazing answers! It just boils down to presentation and how confident they are with their answers!
The one that top this segment is surprisingly Miss Cagayan de Oro – Misamis Oriental Cinderella Fae Obeñita. She just sealed her win with that answer!
Winners!
I loved Meiji. She’s such a stunner but I didn’t expect her to place this high after the Q&A but overall, she’s probably in the upper tier of the scoreboard to nab this title.
Her Q&A wasn’t that bad. I thought she gave an apt answer to the question even though she faltered a bit. It’s obvious that her performance there affected her overall placement. I thought she’d get one of the major titles if I’m being honest pegging her to win the Bb. Pilipinas-Intercontinental title.
I really thought that Maureen would either win the International or the Grand International title so I was very surprised that she got Globe! It’s still a crown after all and she very much deserved a crown, regardless of the title! She was unstoppable last night!
As I’ve mentioned above, her gift of gab is her major strength that none of the girls probably expected! She was such a revelation and she should thank her lucky stars that she won the fan vote! Tonight was her destiny fulfilled!
Samantha is definitely one of the best speakers in this batch and I was also on the lookout for her during the first few months of the competition but that excitement died down as the other girls started to peaked so I was very much surprised that she was named to follow suit Samantha Bernardo in Miss Grand International. Samantha reminded me of the Binibining Pilipinas-Universe prototypes of the early 2000’s. I’m excited to see her transformation on her quest to win the first ‘golden crown’ for the Philippines.
Binibining Pilipinas International 2021: With the Miss Universe pageant no longer affiliated with Binibini, Miss International takes center stage as the premier crown for the most prestigious pageant in the country! Hannah Arnold rightfully and deservedly won this major crown last night with her flawless performance emulating a doll and humble demeanor which the Japanese couldn’t seem to resist! She’d definitely do well in Japan later this year!
Overall, I am just in awe of the level of production, the girls, the hosts, the judges – they just set a new standard on how to stage a pageant in the new normal!
Congratulations, Binibining Pilipinas!
Watch the full show of the Binibining Pilipinas 2021 Grand Coronation Night on their official Youtube Channel.
There’s a bit of a change this season with the live shows as the four categories will be performing across two shows with the Girls and the Boys categories performing on the first night. This is where the wildcard winners were also announced with Alisah Bonaobra and Leon Mallett making it via the public votes for their respective categories.
There will also be a winner for each live show with the two winners battling it out on Sunday to win certain prizes.
The Live Show 1 winner is none other than…
This is an absolutely breathtaking performance from Grace. I wonder if she’ll just be singing original songs all through out her stay in the competition. Her song is called Too Young and it’s absolutely brilliant! A really deserving win, indeed!
And apparently, a chance to see P!nk in concert is the prize this week! Even Dermot made a mistake when he said that she’d get to see Pink… watch…
Holly Tandy – Hollow by Tori Kelly
She isn’t the most polished singer in the bunch but she’s got incredible tone and stage presence. I could totally see her making Top 6.
Rai-Elle Williams – Doo Wop (That Thing) and Lost Ones by Lauryn Hill and No by Meghan Trainor
I don’t hink she’s the strongest singer in the competition but she’s very charming! Girl got sass and I absolutely loved her performance overall.
And finally, as I’ve said from the previous post – Alisah just killed it. Her song choice was absolutely brilliant and she looked wonderful!
Sam Black – Faith by Stevie Wonder and Ariana Grande.
Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely loved Sam’s personality and he seems like a nice bloke but I gotta say – he is the weakest amongst the boy and probably one of the weakest singers in the show. I don’t exactly know why he got in instead of the likes of Benji…
Lloyd Macey – City of Stars by Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone (OST – La La Land)
That personality, that accent! He’s absolutely adorable! And that freaking song!I didn’t think I’d say this but he’s absolutely a winner material after that performance!
Leon Mallett – Stay by Zedd and Alessia Cara
I wasn’t expecting Leon to make it to the live show and win the public votes as the boys wildcard but they obviously loves him. This performance was just okay. Nothing spectacular. I’m gonna give him two more weeks in the show tops.
Spencer Sutherland – Who You Are by Jessie J
What just happened there? I thought he’s the strongest in his category but seriously, what the ever loving fuck? I’m still baffled until now.
It all boils down to Spencer and Leon…such a shame really. Leon over Spencer is just utter BS. #RealTalk
The fourteenth season of the The X Factor UK has premiered yesterday and they gave us fans a taste of what we can expect this season. Almost all the hopefuls in the first week of audition made it, or at least almost all of those they’ve shown!
We still have the same panel from last year headed by Simon Cowell with Sharon Osbourne, Nicole Scherzinger and Louis Walsh.
Top 3 Auditionees:
Anthony Russell, 27
Anthony has got this very unique voice and a very endearing personality. He was sporting a shiner during his audition and I think the judges just really felt bad for him. That’s not to say he only got pity votes because he’s seriously good! I’m guessing as early as now that he’ll make it to the live show. Nicole will decide his fate this year.
He also stated that he auditioned back in 2007 when he was a cocky 17 years old. Very funny audition because he was so cocky. I don’t think Simon liked him back then.
2. Grace Davies, 20
I think she’s this year’s Caitlyn Vanbeck but with more originality and more likable! Her song Roots really is AMAZING! Have a listen NOW!
3. Sam Black, 27
Another guy under Nicole’s category if he’s not gonna be eliminated first and eventually ends up in a group. He’s really good looking and he’s got a really nice old-school voice. He looks like a starving version of James Morrison but more good looking. I think he’d do well as a solo artist. I’m not sure if he’s the best yet but for now, amongst those whom they’ve shown this first episode – he’s definitely one of the best!
The rest who made it through…
I super adore Gaga Lord! Her big voice is unbelievable! Not sure yet how they would package here if they decide to get her through the overs category in the live show.
Jordan Rabjohn is adorable as fuck and I can already tell that they’re going to put him in a group…
Jack & Joel are a good act but I don’t think they will be THAT marketable. I’m not even sure if Joel can do other things aside from beat boxing and playing the guitar but he’s the likable one in this duo although Jack has a fantastic vocals obviously.
I loved Kayleigh Taylor’s personality and I think she’s really likable but I don’t get her voice yet. I feel like she’s screaming the whole song but that’s just for me tho. Best of luck to her!
Holly Tandy is only 15 people. Yep. She look like a supermodel and sounds okay. I just don’t think she’ there yet. She’s very raw tho and I think the judges saw potentials in her…
The look and sound good but the whole thing is too rehearsed and the second song when Simon asked them to sing a second song sounds like they’re miming…hhmm
Who are your favorites amongst those who auditioned yesterday?
Okay, so what just happened this episode? I mean, I’m at a loss. First, Ann went home which is a shame, really because she’s got a very big potential to be wonderful but I guess with just seven of them in the competition, an improvement will be too little too late – and unfortunately for Ann, that improvement was lackluster in comparison to the rest of the “models” in the house still in the running towards becoming Philippines’ Next Top Model.
The Challenge this week was something of a pose-off challenge facilitated by top model and Miss World 2003 Top 5 finisher Mafae Yunon-Belasco. Aivie won the challenge because she’s obviously the only one taking it seriously. Lucky for her too because truth be told, she’s the weakest IMO amongst the remaining girls.
And shocking part of the episode was that Sarah decided to pack her bags and go home. No explanation was provided. I mean, what is this show?! Sarah is one of the “better” models in the house but her leaving is kind of bothering me because she could’ve given her spot to someone who really wanted it. I wished they showed why she suddenly decided to quit.
At the photoshoot, the brief is to show their androgynous side posing alongside Top Androgynous model (apparently) Julian Lucas. I thought Adela killed it during the shoot! She was mesmerizing to watch. Janny really looks incredible with her haircut! She’s just so edgy! Just don’t talk too much girl and you’re good! Blaise was just, I dunno bland AF. Inah’s make-up was terrible and her styling! Eeek! What was that? Ann was very painful to watch whilst Angela looks like a top model already. This is the first time that I could recall Angela’s face and I can see a glimmer of something good about her. She’s starting to be the biggest threat for the title and if I’m being honest, I could only see her and Adela winning the whole thing.
This week, they showed the deliberation process. It was just awkward. And then when Inah’s picture was called – Maggie reminded her about her attitude which was puzzling for some perhaps because they never showed anything shady involving her this episode. To remind you guys tho, from what little I could gather from last week, she called model guest Julian Lucas beshy – perhaps he got offended and shit. LOL. Seriously, the editing of this show is so wtf!
Angela
Janny
Blaise
Aivie
Adela
Ann
Ina
First Call Out – Angela! Not really surprising because she looks really good in the picture!
The 65th Miss Universe fever is finally on full swing and the delegates from around the globe are trying to out-stage each other while trying to play nice! Hah! Just this week, we’ve witnessed the Terno Fashion Show from some of the ladies who graced the beautiful historic Vigan to showcase the beautiful ternos created by Filipino designers. Then there’s was the Governor’s Ball, Their photoshoots from different historic sites in the metro as well as visits in the beautiful Boracay Island, Cebu and Batangas. With more press releases, videos and photos available for fans and pundits, let me present to you my first hot picks for this Manila edition of the Miss Universe beauty pageant!
Mariam Habach of Venezuela
At this stage of the competition, Miss Venezuela for me is the most ready to become the new queen – charisma and performance-wise. Her simplicity and unconventional beauty is refreshing from the usual brunette-filled Venezuelan delegates sent by their great national director Osmel Sousa to this pageant. Her posture and contagious smile is a thing of beauty that you can’t help but fall for her. Mariam came prepared to battle it out to the finish here in Manila!
Maxine Medina of the Philippines
Admit it or not, Miss Philippines’ beauty is a beauty that is very hard to ignore. She exudes confidence and a hint of mystery whenever she struck a pose – until she opens her mouth that is, as per pageant pundits’ usual criticism. To be fair tho, I think we’re too critical of Maxine because we’re comparing her to Pia and whether or not she’ll be able to carry on the latter’s legacy. I still believe that there is a big fat chance for the host-nation to snag a back-to-back win equating Venezuela’s record back in 2008-2009. After all, Maxine has the hometown advantage and with a smooth performance, albeit, a most probably less than confident answers in the Q&A round – she could probably pull it off.
Raissa Santana of Brazil
This Amazonian goddess is everywhere! Like literally every event! She’s such a stand out that you can’t help but be mesmerize by her modelesque bone structure and captivating smile! I’m only placing her as my third pick for the crown at this point because I’m still not sold with her overall presentation. It’s too finesse for me and I want her to be more vibrant and more natural!
Kiran Jassal of Malaysia
Miss Malaysia may not be getting much hype compared to her ASEAN counterparts such as Thailand, Indonesia, and her roomie Miss Philippines but she’s definitely someone to watch out for. She’s a real stunner in pictures and in motion and it may look like she’s playing it under the radar for now but come preliminaries, I’ve a feeling that she’ll be in everyone’s list afterwards. I actually think that she’s way better than Deborah Henry – the most prominent Malaysian delegate in memories who got snubbed during the 2011 edition of the pageant. Like Deborah, she’s got an amazing personality, stunning looks (way better than Miss Henry, IMHO) and good communication skills to boot. Will her sash prevent her from entering the top 16? I hope not.
Chalita Suansane of Thailand
Chalita is definitely a force to reckon with in the Manila edition of the pageant. She came prepared and ready to fight it out like Miss Venezuela and the other three in my top 5! She’s by far my ‘ultimate spoiler’ for the crown! She’s very polished, though not the prettiest candidate, she’s one scene-stealer that has a very likable personality to boot!
Andrea Tovar of Colombia
Andrea Tovar is no Adriana Gutierrez. The latter is personable whilst Andrea has this superior air about her. I’m not saying that it’s a bad thing to project but at times, it’s almost as if she’s already won the crown when in fact she hasn’t even step up her game performance-wise. I was expecting more from her and so far she’s giving me such lackluster performance that I’m relegating her to 6th place. Why is she still in the top 10 despite non-personable aura I’ve mentioned? Well, she’s Miss Colombia and Miss Universe loves their controversy. She’s a definite shoo-in for the semis plus her beauty is truly undeniable that truly separates her from others. Thing is, she really needs to work the crowd. After all, nobody wants a villain queen.
Deshauna Barber of the USA
Facially, Deshauna Barber isn’t the most conventionally beautiful delegate in the bunch but her background as US military and her subpar communication skills matching her vibrant personality makes her the most interesting girl to talk and listen to which I think is a big plus for whoever will win the Miss Universe crown!
Kezia Warouw of Indonesia
Indonesia is up for the country of the year in 2016 and a win here will cement their newfound status last year. It’s not an impossible feat because the reigning Indonesian queen is a breathtaking beauty that is both relatable and personable! I am still waiting for her spark to go full on but I’ve a feeling that she will deliver when it matters most.
Hawa Kamara of Sierra Leone
This debuting lass from the West African nation of Sierra Leone is already endearing a lot of pageant fans around the world as she struts with her natural hair on flick, she’s definitely stealing the spotlight from the more hyped candidates. She’s also very dear to Filipino pageant fans as the OFW’s and local fans helped her preparation for the pageant which include her flight to Manila as well as her wardrobe for the duration of Miss Universe. And she didn’t disappoint so far as she is both luminous in pictures and in motion. I’m not sure if Miss Universe is ready to crown another African queen after Leila Lopes’ victory in Brazil but if Sierra Leone delivers the goods come finals night, I’m pretty sure that everyone will be celebrating with her win!
Caris Tiivel of Australia
It’s very simple how Miss Australia landed as my 10th pick. She’s the prototype of the Miss Universe Australia in recent years and I can totally see her eclipsing some of the powerhouse Latinas to make it all the way into the top 5. She’s beautiful, a good communicator and very polished. Although I haven’t envisioned her winning just yet, I’ve a feeling that if she step it up in the prelims – there’s a big possibility of that happening.
If you’ve missed the first episode of the current cycle of Asia’s Next Top Model that aired on StarWorld a couple of weeks ago, don’t fret because it is now available online through their official Youtube channel!!! I know, exciting right? I also expect the upload of the succeeding episodes, naturally. Although it is two episodes delay just like in the previous cycles, I thought it’s a pretty good deal already for those of us who does not have access or doesn’t have the time to watch real-time episode airing.
Lourd Ramos is back ya’ll for the dreaded makeover episode! The TRESemmé top stylist will be spearheading yet again the girls’ new look in the hopes of becoming Asia’s Next Top Model!
The makeover scene as usual is nothing short of a drama-fest with girl crying over their precious hair. Let the pictures speak for themselves yeah?
The photoshoot is for the girls’ comp card (composite card) and a lot of girls are stepping up their game if I may just say! Angie and Sang-In are probably my favorite during the shoot! They’re totally giving it all! Sang In just look flawless, tbh! Julian was a-ok as well as Aldilla but I thought the shots just look meh – I hope the final photos are good tho. Wow at Gwen’s photo! Her makeover just worked for her if I may say so. Alaiza look bored af but and those eyebrows just won’t quit! The good thing about this photoshoot is that the girl were allowed to pick two of what they thought is their best photos to be included in their comp card. Speaking of digging their own graves. LOL One of the remaining girls I didn’t mention are home-bound I guess…
And wouldn’t you know it, my homegirls and my favorite Mai Ngo found themselves at the bottom this week! OMFG!!!!!! I think the spoilers I’ve read from before are correct. This is like the *shittiest* moment of the cycle!
Call Out Order
Sang In – Total score: 40.0
Tuti – Total score: 37.0
Aldilla – Total score: 36.5
Angie – Total score: 32.7
Jessica – Total score: 30.1
Tawan – Total score: 28.5
Patricia – Total score: 27.0
May – Total score: 25.5
Julian – Total score: 25.0
Alaiza – Total score: 23.5
Gwen – Total score: 22
Mai Ngo – Total score: 18
For tonight’s episode, the final four girls will try to charm their clients as they go into casting and will prove their worth as cover girls as they pose for their “possible” Harper’s Bazaar’s cover which will be part of the winner’s package.
gettin’ ready for casting!
Aimee, Barbara, Gani and Monika will be donning fashion styles through the eras and with Kenneth Goh, the Editor-In-Chief of the magazine himself observing the shoot and joining the panel, the girls need to step up their A-game if they want to be part of the series’ finale.
Harper’s BAZAAR Singapore Editor-In-Chief Kenneth Goh with host Georgina Wilson
Tune in tonight at 8:45PM on STAR World Asia but for now, you can check out the Episode 12 promo.
♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦
The four girls went directly to their go-sees. Kenneth Goh thought Barbara lacks confidence which is her main issue (the girl has been a working model for a long time it’s a wonder why she still lacks self-confidence). The casting includes clients from Pois and Liv Lo, Braun Buffel and Triumph with Barbara and Gani getting the worst critiques from both clients and Kenneth.
As expected, Monika won this go-see challenge – reliable model right? And she got prizes from the clients and wanna know who’s hating?? hahaha
At the photoshoot, the rest of the girls struggles a lot while trying to depict fashion styles from different era. I’m honestly not liking this shoot much and I hope they would re-shoot it whoever wins. By gods, it’s totally not working!
At panel, the judges are trying to analyze the models’ potentials.
The best photo went to Gani (garnering her third first call out in the season) – now the question is, will this be a repeat of season 2 and will Gani overcome the panel’s criticism about being of a short stature?
Monika took second best photo with Kenneth Goh envisioning her doing well in the European market. Is this an indication for a win and a possible trip to London for Monika in the future? I hope so.
The third girl to advance in next week’s final episode is Aimee! I loved Aimee and like Georgina said, I also think that she’s the smartest model in the house.
Barbara loses her steam for the final stretch in the competition. It’s a sad thing really for her to leave the competition – like she’s almost there. But hey, good things comes for those who waits. I’m pretty sure, a lot of great things are ahead of her future! (it’s like you never stopped working at all) Keep the cash rollin’ girl!
With Barbara leaving us…who do you think will claim victory next Wednesday?
