My Thoughts on Binibining Pilipinas 2021 Coronation Night!

I absolutely loved this edition of Binibining Pilipinas and it may actually be the one of the best editions for me. What’s freaking insane is that it is the first time it was actually televised in real-time! And with no live audience too well…because Covid. Ahem. So, I have to talk about a few things this edition has offered us.

The Binibining Pilipinas 2021 was supposed to be the year 2020 edition but due to the pandemic, it was moved a year later which is the very first time the pageant was not held since it’s inception in 1964. However, Samantha Mae Bernardo, Binibining Pilipinas 2019 Second Runner-up and was a contestant of the supposed 2020th edition was appointed the Philippines’ representative to the 2020-2021 Miss Grand International earlier this year making her the only title holder to wear a 2020th sash! So many fun facts!

Another first for this edition is its all-female hosts with two former Binibining Pilipinas queens – Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray and 2016 Binibining Pilipinas Grand International and 2016 Miss Grand International First Runner-up, Nicole Cordoves. Catriona and Nicole not only made a Binibini history last night, they also did an incredible job that it’s hard to imagine them not doing this every single year moving forward!

The Stage: It looks amazing! It was simple and classy looking with its three gigantic led screens! Easier

The Opening: Donning yellow, orange and lime-green cocktails dresses, the girls dances a to a new Binibining Pilipinas song! It was catchy and they all looked absolutely amazing! The introduction was a sight to behold too, showing each Bibibini in their respective National Costumes! It was marvelous! The costumes are simply to die for! Why are we not seeing these kind of costumes in the international level though? Hmmm…

The board of judges are also a batch of impressive panel that includes Rajo Laurel, Maria Garcia, Dioceldo Sy, Benito Bengzon Jr, Pinky Webb, Enrique Gil, Miss International 2016 Kylie Versoza and the ever-so-beautiful actress Liza Soberano! Can I just say that Liza looked like a goddess last night!

First two set of awards:

Best in National Costume: Nueva Ecija, Marian Ruth Erika Quin

Miss Friendship: Tagum City, Lesley Anne Ticaro
Miss Talent: Bocaue, Bulacan, Vianca Louise Marcelo
Miss Photogenic: Manila, Patrizia Mariah Garcia
Miss Alagang Silka: Angeles, Pampanga, Ma. Francesca Taruc
Jag Denim Queen: Masbate, Hannah Arnold
Miss World Balance: Olongapo, Alexandra Faith Garcia
Miss Ever Bilena: Batangas, Maureen Montagne
Miss Piza Hut: Iloilo, Karen Laurrie Mendoza
Manila Bulleting Readers Choice Award: Batangas, Mica Rosal

Last batch and some major awards:

Bb. Araneta City: Angeles, Pampanga, Maria Francesca Taruc
Miss Creamsilk: Batangas, Maureen Montagne

Best in Swimsuit: Valenzeula, Meiji Cruz
Best in Long Gown: Eastern Samar, Gabrielle Basiano

The proceedings was fast! The top 12 were announced right away plus a Top 13th people’s choice voted via the Binibining Pilipinas app, and they paraded in Swimsuit and their beautiful Evening gown! It was such a glorious sight!

My favorites for the swimsuit round are: Maureen Montagne, Hannah Arnold and Meiji Cruz.

As for the Evening Gown, it was obviously Gabrielle Basiano with that presentation that totally nailed the round! Another one of my favorite for this round is Hannah Arnold with her baby pink gown ensemble and Graciella Lehman with her effortless pasarela!

As each finalists is called into the top 12/13, she will deliver a short message about her pandemic experience (this is almost similar to the opening speech in the Miss Universe during its 2018 and 2019 edition)

Here are my on the spot notes last night for each finalists!

  1. Eastern Samar, Gabrielle Basiano – too short, prolly got nervous but very beautiful face.
  2. Manila, Patrizia Mariah Garcia – reminds me of Aya Abesamis. Very simple message. Challenging governance…
  3. Iloilo, Karen Laurrie Mendoza – Loved her accent! talks about mental illness is not a sign of weakness, you are heard, you matter – a really thoughtful and relevant message.
  4. Oriental Mindoro, Graciella Lehman – talked about being a cabin crew and to be in the service of fellow Filipinos.
  5. Angeles Pampanga, Francesca Taruc – to be more grateful and appreciate little things in life. Quick. Message was okayish.
  6. Valenzuela, Meiji Cruz (Cat said Venezuela – a cute mistake) – loved her Pinoy accent, very good message. Unity, compassion together we can heal!
  7. Albay, Jashmin Dimaculangan – very on point message!!! talks about Typhoon Ulysses during the pandemic
  8. Cavite, Samantha Panlilio – very good communication skills, her family are from the tourism industry and how in perseverance we can survive this pandemic.
  9. Quezon Province, Patricia Babista – being a frontliner, aims to face a new world with a healthier, braver and kinder human
  10. Rizal Province, Honey Cartasano – loved her styling! regain her purpose thru volunteering in helping her kababayan!
  11. Masbate, Hannah Arnold – As a forensic science graduate she wanted the country to invest on science and prevent another pandemic. Very good.
  12. Batangas, Maureen Montagne – I witness firsthand the true beauty and strength of community. Siargao community pantry, together we can overcome any obstacle. Lovely messaging too!
    People’s Choice / Fan Vote
  13. Cagayan de Oro – Misamis Oriental – Cinderella Fae Obeñita very good messaging! With her personality, I wonder why she missed the first cut in the first place…

Another segment is an interview with Miss International 2013 Bea Rose Santiago who’s battling a end-stage renal failure and she delivered a lovely message of hope to the girls and to us viewers! Get well soon, Bea!

Can I just talk about how amazing the Evening Gown presentation was? I mean, that’s international level of production! Each girl in the top 13 talks about their chosen gown and the symbolism it represents! So powerful!

Moving on to the ‘dreaded’ Q&A, it’s obvious that a lot of girls were nervous. Overall, I thought they all gave amazing answers! It just boils down to presentation and how confident they are with their answers!

The one that top this segment is surprisingly Miss Cagayan de Oro – Misamis Oriental Cinderella Fae Obeñita. She just sealed her win with that answer!

Winners!

Second Runner-up: Meiji Cruz, Valenzuela

I loved Meiji. She’s such a stunner but I didn’t expect her to place this high after the Q&A but overall, she’s probably in the upper tier of the scoreboard to nab this title.

First Runner-up: Gabrielle Basian, Borongan Eastern Samar

Her Q&A wasn’t that bad. I thought she gave an apt answer to the question even though she faltered a bit. It’s obvious that her performance there affected her overall placement. I thought she’d get one of the major titles if I’m being honest pegging her to win the Bb. Pilipinas-Intercontinental title.

Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2021: Maureen Montagne, Batangas

I really thought that Maureen would either win the International or the Grand International title so I was very surprised that she got Globe! It’s still a crown after all and she very much deserved a crown, regardless of the title! She was unstoppable last night!

Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental 2021: Cinderella Fae Obeñita, Miss Cagayan de Oro – Misamis Oriental

As I’ve mentioned above, her gift of gab is her major strength that none of the girls probably expected! She was such a revelation and she should thank her lucky stars that she won the fan vote! Tonight was her destiny fulfilled!

Binibining Pilipinas Grand International 2021: Samantha Panlilio, Cavite

Samantha is definitely one of the best speakers in this batch and I was also on the lookout for her during the first few months of the competition but that excitement died down as the other girls started to peaked so I was very much surprised that she was named to follow suit Samantha Bernardo in Miss Grand International. Samantha reminded me of the Binibining Pilipinas-Universe prototypes of the early 2000’s. I’m excited to see her transformation on her quest to win the first ‘golden crown’ for the Philippines.

Binibining Pilipinas International 2021 – Hannah Arnold, Masbate

Binibining Pilipinas International 2021: With the Miss Universe pageant no longer affiliated with Binibini, Miss International takes center stage as the premier crown for the most prestigious pageant in the country! Hannah Arnold rightfully and deservedly won this major crown last night with her flawless performance emulating a doll and humble demeanor which the Japanese couldn’t seem to resist! She’d definitely do well in Japan later this year!

Overall, I am just in awe of the level of production, the girls, the hosts, the judges – they just set a new standard on how to stage a pageant in the new normal!

Congratulations, Binibining Pilipinas!

Binbining Pilipinas 2019 Review: Winners, Heartbreaks and Vindication!

I was not able to closely follow this edition like the previous year because I’ve been so busy with work so I pretty much got my updates through social media and from my pageant-fanatic friends. A week and a half leading to the coronation night, I decided to watch most of their videos, check out their photos and even visited forums to come up with my top favorites and below are the My top 10 favorites based on everything I’ve seen and read about them.

1. Vickie Rushton
2. Gazini Ganados
3. Samantha Lo
4. Aya Abesamis
5. Leren Mae Bautista
6. Emma Tiglao
7. Patch Magtanong
8. Julia Saubier
9. Hannah Arnold
10. Samantha Bernardo

The Coronation Night AKA In partnership of Miss Universe Philippines and Binibining Pilipinas *rolls eyes*

The Stage, Opening Number and Segments Productions:
I absolutely loved the very Pinoy theme of the opening number with its own song, Raise Your Flag inspired by Catriona’s answer during the Miss Universe 2018. I loved the vibrant lighting of the stage and the very simple stage design, but from afar,- it looks a bit dark.

The introduciton where the girls are wearing all-white looks really good with the Philippine Flag on the LCD behind them.

Host Richard Guttierez and Anne Curtis are back as this year’s main hosts while Binibining Pilipinas – Grand International 2015 Nicole Cordoves serves as the segment host and she was just fantastic as usual!

Richard somehow redeemed himself here after receiving flock from his 2018 gig. He was more relaxed , though he forgot Leren Mae during the Q&A but it was easily edited on TV so all’s good.

Anne meanwhile was such a joy to watch! She’s very professional and very charming at the same time! I’d love to see her comeback next year!

What’s so prominent about this edition is its pacing! From the first cut up to the question and answer, everything was done quicky. I was also checking Facebook and Twitter while inside the Big Dome and learned that the live audience were just a segment ahead of the telecast!

Swimsuit and Evening Gown Competition:

For the swimsuit round, a reggae band played while the top 25 sashayed with their blue swimwears. The girls were given a choice to don either one-piece or two-piece swimsuits – Binibining Bataan, Bea Patricia Magtanong surprisingly end up topping this round of the competition. My personal pick during this round was Emma Tiglao from Pampanga.

The evening gown portion was another thing – that segment was just mesmerizing! I loved this presentation better than last year’s. There are a lot of standout gowns here that it’s anybody’s ballgame but it probably boiled down to presentation with eventual Miss Universe Philippines winner Gazini Ganados from Talisay, Cebu nailing it from head to toe to that alluring smile! Her aviary-inspired Cary Santiago gown was to die for! My favorites here are Gazini, Aya Abesamis and Samantha Lo.

Face of Binibini
This is one of the three major awards given that night and I really thought that this was locked for Vickie who earlier in the night amassed the majority of awards from the pageant’s sponsors so what a pleasant surprised it was when Gazini snatched it, looking very surprised herself.

The Farewell Walks of the 2018 Queens!
The 2018 Queens did really well internationally with the obvious ring leader, the reigning Miss Universe Catriona Gray getting the spotlight in the said segment. I loved her speech after her AVP, though a bit long it was really a touching moment. She really is a one in a million queen!

What I was hoping to happen in this segment though was a little more acknowledgment to Karen Gallman who made history as well as the country’s first Miss Intercontinental winner. The five girls farewell messaged and final walks felt like mere afterthought compared with Queen Cat.

Announcement of Winners!

The New Miss Universe Philippines 2019!
Gazini Christiana Jordan Ganados made her mark at the latter part of the coronation when she sashay on the stage with her Cary Santiago neon pink evening gown. She was just breathtaking during her turn stealing the thunder from the night’s favorite, Vicky Rushton who strut after her. Her pasarela wasn’t the strongest but nobody could deny that face! Her Best in Evening Gown and Face of the Binibini (Miss Photogenic) awards are truly well-deserved wins! She may not be a Catriona during the Q&A but she was charming and had grace under pressure. Even if some would argue that her answer isn’t the best, it is undeniable that she was the most mesmerizing ensuring the top plum for Talisay City, Cebu!

The Pride of Bataan is going International!
Patch is one of the most hyped contestants this edition and for a lot of good reasons – statuesque beauty, impressive credentials and good communication skills. Everyone inside the coliseum knew that after she delivered a very convincing answer during the Q&A, she would end up winning one of the crowns. Some fans were disappointed that she “only” nabbed the Binibining Pilipinas – International title but I honestly feel that she’d do well in the Japanese-based pageant and may end up winning it all. It’s also clear that Gazini outperformed her all throughout the night so she should be thanking her lucky stars that she even end up second in ranking with other girls like Lo, Tiglao and Saeed trailing behind fiercely.

Resham is now on my radar!
Resham Saeed isn’t even on my radar prior to the finals night. I’ve seen her free-speech delivery and was duly impressed by it but I was blinded by the early frontrunners to pay her a glance or two. Lo and behold though, the girl cemented her status as a crown-worthy contender with her saltry Swimsuit catwalk and gift of gab. She may need more polishing and better styling but that’s what Binibini is there for and I’m pretty sure she’d be explosive come Miss Supranational in Poland later this year.

Samantha Lo is a Miss Universe Philippines in the making but…
This was Samantha’s first national pageant and she made it all the way to the winners’ circle by clinching the Binibining Pilipinas – Grand International title. I’m still not sure how to feel about her winning the said title but given Samantha’s assertiveness, I know that she’d be fighting hard and will represent our country well in Venezuela later this year. It’s a shame that the owner of her international assignment had an on-going beef with Filipino pageant fans and is seemingly on a revenge mode. And doing his pageant in Venezuela? What the hell was he thinking?!

Enough of that for now, this is about Samantha so I’d just like to say how impressive her performance was during the finals. She was so-so during the swimsuit round but she was definitely one of the best during the evening gown portion of the competition. Her pink evening gown with a black silthouette accentuated her boxy (no pun intended) body and looks every inch like the queen she is. And of course, it is without question that she provided the best answer during the Q&A – it must have been a very difficult deliberation for the judges!

Had her fellow Cebuana Gazini not perform explosively and charmed the whole of Araneta, she’d definitely be a good alternative too!

The Vindication of Emma Tiglao!
Emma’s biggest waterloo during her Miss World Philippines and first Binibining Pilipinas stints was the question and answer rounds. These girls are smart but some aren’t just as spontaneous and this is where Emma keeps on falling short so it was with relief that she was able to sail through the Q&A like a boss and finally able to bagged a national crown! She was flawless throughout the night and I really thought that she’d be be sent to Miss International or Miss Supranational but I guess, SMA wanted a back-to-back crowning in Miss Intercontinental and Emma’s sheer beauty is an ace that could do that.

Leren Mae Bautista Barely Made it…
Leren is one of the girls pegged as the possible Miss Universe Philippines crown successors going into the compeition. Her exotic look was glaring throughout the night making her a possible contender for the top crown. For the Q&A, despite being one of the girls considered to be good communicators, she was just mediocre to say the least. Her beauty and presentation definitely leave a mark to the judges enough for her to creep into the winners’ circle.

Aya’s One Big Moment
Despite not getting one of the ‘coveted’ six titles, Maria Andrea Verdadero Abesamis will always be remembered as a fighter after vindicating herself from her last year’s unsuccessful bid for a crown. Aya came back more polished. She was vibrant on stage and even channeled her Mother Desiree when she competed for the Miss Universe 1984 during the Evening Gown competition. Her readiness was evident last Sunday and although she fell short on clinching a title, her runner-up finish is still a good note to end her pageant career! She should be proud of herself for it must be very difficult doing this all over again!

Samantha’s Sorrow…
Samantha Mae Bernardo made have finished with a runner-up title but it’s probably a bittersweet moment for her since she also garnered the same placing at last year’s Binibining Pilipinas edition. Many thought that she did well but she probably just fell short on getting a few more votes from the judges to get a title. If it’s any consolation, she still have another chance next year to clinch a title as she’s still qualified age-wise. She just have to remember that Pia had to join thrice and even went home empty handed on her second try and had to work hard on her journey to win the Miss Universe crown. I’ve a feeling that this isn’t the end for Samantha’s pageant journey – I just hope that she’d keep it

The Heartbreaking Exclusion of a Fan Favorite!
Last year’s 1st Runner-up Vickie Rushton is one of the fan favorites and frontrunners leading up to last night’s finals. She was on her way to nab one of the crowns, if not the top plum until the dreaded Q & A got to her. She was asked why mental health is as important as physical health. She already started wobbly and was about to recover until the live audience (unheard through the TV) started jeering and the girl who’s perceived to be THE ONE TO BEAT all night long lost her train of thoughts and regrettably resigned to the inevitable.

I was really hoping that she’d do a Karen Gallman and still end up winning one of the crowns, alas, the judges deemed the other girls answers too strong for them to spare her a title. It was just heartbreaking to see her defeated expression after her turn in the Q&A portion. Online sources are stating that she’s already 27 thus overage to join again next year, but for now I hope she finds time to rest and be with the people who loves and supports her. And I also hope that people will stop shaming her for her Q&A performance because I could only guess how difficult it is to be in her position last Sunday.

Conclusion:
Overall, I can say that this is one of the best Binibining Pilipinas editions I’ve watched to date. The pacing was way better, the hosts are great in general and the quality of the contestants are some of the best we’ve had in years – I’d say that this is the most competitive edition in the last five years. Although the pre-pageant took months due to the Miss Universe Philippines franchise hoopla, we’re still treated with a surprisingly amazing show. Camera-works was still a missed at some parts but overall, it was a well-delivered show. Kudos to ABS-CBN and to Binibining Pilipinas Organization for bringing us another awesome edition of the most beautiful night in the Philippines!

ICYMI: Catriona Gray to walk for Sherri Hill

In a rather unprecedented event, Miss Universe Philippines Catriona Gray was invited and flown by Sherri Hill’s team in the US to walk for the designer’s show in the on-going New York Fashion Week.

This news was first posted through Sherri Hill’s Instagram stories twice that was then confirmed by the Gray herself on her own Instagram.

Catriona will be competing in Bangkok on December 16 for the 2018 edition of the Miss Universe pageant and is touted to be one of the top contenders for the crown!

Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere in a stunning Michael Cinco Gown!

Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mitternaere of France was a vision in red as she relinquished her crown to the new winner last night in Las Vegas.

She had her final walk as Miss Universe wearing a scarlet red ombré couture gown in full Swarovski crystals by the very talented Michael Cinco who also made the gown worn by Pia Wurtzbach when she crowned Iris in Manila earlier this year.

I am hoping that we’d see our delegates sashaying a Michael Cinco gown during the evening gown competition of this* pageant soon? For Catriona next year, perhaps?

* Michael Cinco provided the evening gowns for Sandra Seifert (Miss Earth 2009), Queenierich Rehman (Miss World 2012) and Valerie Weigmann (Miss World 2014) during their international pageant assignments.

ICYMI: Jennifer Lopez wearing a 20-foot Michael Cinco Cape on ‘The Tonight Show’!

Jlo's Back With Lin-Manuel Miranda

Here’s JLo hitting the diva meter while performing a new song called “Love Make the World Go Round” with Hamilton-star Lin-Manuel Miranda on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”  Adding flare to her emotional performance was the couture crystallized Sainte Chapelle inspired hand painted cape she’s wearing by fame Filipino designer, Michael Cinco. The 20-foot stained glass cape features 10,000 colorful Swarovski crystals with hand-made silk embroideries, which according to the designer took six months to complete by about 100 people!

Now, that is how you make a statement! Bravo JLo and Mr. Miranda!

LIVE BLOGGING

The season started with 14 hopefuls and tonight we’re down to three lovely ladies all vying for the right to be Asia’s Next Top Model!

The three finalists all went to dinner with the panel – Georgina, Alex and Joey – and shared their future endeavors. Awee…

The girls will be having their final “Haute Couture” photoshoot at Fullerton Hotel Singapore.

A rep from Storm Model Management will also be present at the shoot and will be joining the final judging.

Monika’s overthinking the shoot – feeling all the pressure! OMG! C’mon girl!

Aimee’s totally killing the shoot! I loved that dress! And Alex was beaming all over the shoot! The photographer Jean-Baptiste Fort even mentioned that he would like to work with Aimee in the future…yay! Another hometown win??! ^^

Yikes! Is this Gani choking?

The final runway will be held at Chijmes Hall!! Yay!

Eliminated contestants were brought back… where’s Amanda??? Oh and there’s Jodilly and Sheena from the previous season.

Monika’s a natural in the runway. Gani looks short but amazing!

Aimee’s totally getting everything right – even closing the mock runway show! Hhmmm…

Panel time… who’s it gonna be?

MonikaThem judges loved Monika’s photo!!! The rep from Storm thought Monika can do anything! Yay!

AimeeThe also loved Aimee!!! Her shot and her walk!!!! Am I smelling a win from her?

Gani AyuGani’s shot was fantastic and it’s my personal favorite amongst the three! Panel said she’s a classic Asian model… prompting Perry to say that if Gani’s a bit taller – she could walk any runway worldwide.

The panel is now deliberating…

The Storm rep totally loves Aimee!!!! I think she’s winning this…

Panel said Monika want it the most but lacks x-factor. 😦 so not winning this but I hope I’m wrong.

Alex Perry’s harping on Gani’s height. Same issue all throughout the season.  – could win this.

And the winner of Asia’s Next Top Model Cycle 3 is…

Asia’s Next Top Model Cycle 3 Episode 12 – Harper’s BAZAAR Photoshoot & Final Three [June 10, 2015]

Final Four GirlsFor tonight’s episode, the final four girls will try to charm their clients as they go into casting and will prove their worth as cover girls as they pose for their “possible” Harper’s Bazaar’s cover which will be part of the winner’s package.

gettin' ready for casting!

gettin’ ready for casting!

Aimee, Barbara, Gani and Monika will be donning fashion styles through the eras and with Kenneth Goh, the Editor-In-Chief of the magazine himself observing the shoot and joining the panel, the girls need to step up their A-game if they want to be part of the series’ finale.

Harper's BAZAAR Singapore Editor-In-Chief Kenneth Goh with host Georgina Wilson

Tune in tonight at 8:45PM on STAR World Asia but for now, you can check out the Episode 12 promo.

♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦

The four girls went directly to their go-sees. Kenneth Goh thought Barbara lacks confidence which is her main issue (the girl has been a working model for a long time it’s a wonder why she still lacks self-confidence). The casting includes clients from Pois and Liv Lo, Braun Buffel and Triumph with Barbara and Gani getting the worst critiques from both clients and Kenneth.

As expected, Monika won this go-see challenge – reliable model right? And she got prizes from the clients and wanna know who’s hating?? hahaha

At the photoshoot, the rest of the girls struggles a lot while trying to depict fashion styles from different era. I’m honestly not liking this shoot much and I hope they would re-shoot it whoever wins. By gods, it’s totally not working!

At panel, the judges are trying to analyze the models’ potentials.

Gani Ayu

The best photo went to Gani (garnering her third first call out in the season) – now the question is, will this be a repeat of season 2 and will Gani overcome the panel’s criticism about being of a short stature?

Monika Sta. Maria

Monika took second best photo with Kenneth Goh envisioning her doing well in the European market. Is this an indication for a win and a possible trip to London for Monika in the future? I hope so.

Aimee Bradshaw

The third girl to advance in next week’s final episode is Aimee! I loved Aimee and like Georgina said, I also think that she’s the smartest model in the house.

Barbara Katsuki

Barbara loses her steam for the final stretch in the competition. It’s a sad thing really for her to leave the competition – like she’s almost there. But hey, good things comes for those who waits. I’m pretty sure, a lot of great things are ahead of her future! (it’s like you never stopped working at all) Keep the cash rollin’ girl!

With Barbara leaving us…who do you think will claim victory next Wednesday?

Asia’s Next Top Model Season 3 Episode 4: Shanghai Beauty Photoshoot

At this week’s episode, Loretta found herself bouncing back from the bottom pit of last week’s elimination barely surviving the cut by winning the make-up challenge. A challenge win she shared with fellow contestant from Hong Kong, KB.

For their photoshoot, the girls will have to impress the judges by igniting romance out of their shoot with  a partner – a male model that is!

This week first call out was given to Monika  – although not my most favorite photo in the bunch, I thought it was at least in the top three. That’s just for me though. I just really loved Amanda’s shot!

Monika finally getting the top spot!

Monika finally getting the top spot!

First Call Out: Monika
Aimee
Amanda
KB
Melissa
Tahlia
Gani
Barbara

Bottom Three: Celine, Franchesca and Lorretta

Eliminated: Celine and Lorretta

Did you expect a double elimination this early and do you think the Celine and Loretta deserved their early exit in the competition?
