After he made his US TV show debut in December 2015, Troye Sivan came back to ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ last night and performed Wild off his critically-acclaimed ‘Blue Neighbourhood’ album. The 21-year-old Australian popstar is returning to the States to hold another tour entitled Suburbia Tour starting this fall after his highly successful Blue Neighbourhood Tour last spring.

Here’s JLo hitting the diva meter while performing a new song called “Love Make the World Go Round” with Hamilton-star Lin-Manuel Miranda on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” Adding flare to her emotional performance was the couture crystallized Sainte Chapelle inspired hand painted cape she’s wearing by fame Filipino designer, Michael Cinco. The 20-foot stained glass cape features 10,000 colorful Swarovski crystals with hand-made silk embroideries, which according to the designer took six months to complete by about 100 people!
Now, that is how you make a statement! Bravo JLo and Mr. Miranda!

I’ve got my copy of this book from a used bookstore during my teenage years. It was just there and I got it for less than a dollar. Little did I know that this gem would turn out to be so good and will accompany me on my way to adulthood. It’s literally a “coming of age” story that made my transition into adulthood easier – I dunno, maybe I was readied by this book into the chaos that is ‘growing up.’ I feel like I’ve known Josh, Marcia and Steenie from my past and their adventures in Sagrado feels like a reflection of my own childhood. The humor, the quirky ambiance of Sagrado and the oh-so-colorful cast of side characters reminds me so much of home. Rarely does a book create magic like this [at least for me.] Up until this point, my decrepit paperback copy of Red Sky At Morning is still one of my most treasured book possessions.
And as I’m really on my way into the midst of my adulthood – it still remains a favorite of mine. I wish I was able to say back then that I want to be Josh, Steenie and Martha when I grow up! I guess I just did that now…

I’ve been spoiled by Charlie since the first book of this series and every release in between that is not part of the THIRDS universe so with this one being a Dex-Sloane book, I’ve terribly high expectations and this book more than surpassed them. This seventh installment just made me more excited than before on the next book of the series and especially for the ‘upcoming’ solo series of Dex and Sloane. I am in heaven with this news because I just soooo loved them!
So on with the book – it started from where the last book ended with Dex getting ‘kidnaped’ leaving Sloane dumbfounded because seriously, how the hell did that happen? Hhmm… yes, apparently it could happen even to the mighty Sloane. A certain Mr. Wolf was the culprit for Dex’s abduction and what happened just made me weep internally for my baby Dex. Sorry folks, ‘won’t spoil it for you but you will be absolutely livid for Dex’s sake. I don’t care how good looking Mr. Wolf is – I seriously do not like him. Period.
Right after that, Dex has been acting strange. See, strange things has been happening with him already from the last book so there are already clues there and I think I’ve already gathered what is about to happen here so I’m a bit ready and excited for it to finally happen. Again, no spoilers!
There’s this one scene though that I thought you should be ready for. Remember that if you love Dex, you should also love Sloane. As usual, this big bad Therian is being literally a big BAD Therian. He’s got an a-hole moment here and I was just so fucking disappointed at him. I was like – seriously, aren’t you guys way past this stage already? But yeah – stupid Sloane is stupid. Sorry, I love the guys but he’s an idiot. Sorry – Charlie – I just need to let it out.
Don’t worry tho, because he more than made up for it. It was just the sweetest thing ever and I hope that he’ll never do such a thing again. Although given that there will be a series exclusive for them, it’s unlikely that he’d stop becoming Mr. Running Man. *rolls eyes*
A lot of things are about to be reveal here which are very pivotal into the story arc of the THIRDS universe in general. It was very fascinating and very exciting at the same time.
But here’s the mini-spoiler I just need to air out to Charlie:
Please, have them do the THING in the first book of their series or atleast during the next installment of the THIRDS series! Don’t wait for the 18th book for it to happen please…lol.
To end this, I just have to say that fans of the series won’t be disappointed with this new offering from Charlie Cochet. It was superbly written and something that I’d like to call a ‘classic Charlie.’

These past week, I’ve seen a couple of very heartwarming short films (one is a commercial for Smart Communications) which made me think how beautiful acceptance is especially if it’s from our loved ones since they are a core part of our lives. Unfortunately, this isn’t the case for everybody but I am hoping that one day, no matter how long – we’d learn that these barriers are stupid things we set upon ourselves. After all, love is love.

So I’ve been waiting for a more definite confirmation before I post this one but it looks like it’s almost a sure thing that popstar Rita Ora will be hosting the come-back of the original ‘Top Model’ series, America’s Next Top Model. Obviously, Tyra Banks won’t be the host but she’s still going to be playing a big part on the show’s comeback as its executive producer.
With Tyra okay-ing the former X-Factor UK host as her replacement, it sure sounds like a very interesting Top Model season is before us as it returns to its original channel, VH1.
I’m still not sure about Rita hosting the show as I expected at least a really working supermodel to do the job (like Alessandra, Karolina or Coco) but I loved Rita during the X-Factor last year and she absolutely upstaged Cheryl when it comes to fashion as well. Hah! So for now, that works for me.

The song aptly titled “Hands” was written by Justin Tranter and Julia Michaels and produced by Tranter, BloodPop and Mark Ronson and will benefit the Equality Florida Pulse Victims Fund, the LGBT Community Center of Central Florida and GLAAD.
