2011 Golden Globes Worst Dressed!

The Awards Season is always an exciting time to root for our favorite TV and movie personalities and spot the latest trends that the stars are parading into the red carpet. This year’s Golden Globes proved to be another hit for a lot of our celebrities while some just missed it for this very special night in Hollywood. With that being said, we’d like to honor our best and named our worst dressed celebrities wearing the biggest fashion designers in the world.

For this edition, we’ll be naming our worst dressed of the night and the best dressed will follow shortly on another post.

Christina Aguilera

This Zuhair Murad gown is stunning but Christina wearing it was a big oopsy. Xtina reminds us of Snooki –separated at birth?

Julianne Moore

We hearts most Lanvin stuff and we love you Julianne but what are you wearing? a pink shield on your shoulder?

Sandra Bullock

Sandy, don’t be blindsided that we’ll not notice you just because you won the Oscar last year –this Jenny Packham dress deserved a better do!

Helena Bonham – Carter

I wonder if she’s channeling the designer of this dress? Vivienne Westwood could easily pull this dress than you Miss Carter!

Christina Hendricks

Boo for Mad Men’s Christina Hendricks for looking like a flower decoration at the awards night. Oh, for the credits –she’s wearing a Romona Keveza Gown.

Halle Berry

This Nina Ricci’s piece doesn’t really speak to us a something that would make Halle stand out. It made her unnoticeable.

US Vogue once again named their 10 Best Dressed of the Year with a special edition supplement featuring the Gossip Girl star Blake Lively on the cover shot by Mr. Patrick Demarchelier. Lively just graced the magazine’s cover June of this year.

America’s Next Top Model Cycle 15 Episode 9 Gondola Photoshoot / Missoni Week

This Week’s episode is the overseas week! The final six girls will fly to Venice to meet with designer and model Margherita Missoni from the house of Missoni who will also judge the girls as they strut wearing the house’s world-famous knitwear.

At the photoshoot, the girls will outshine each other as they pose in the Gondola in pair of three!

Will Ann bounce back from her bottom two appearance last week? Will Kayla or Chelsey finally get the elusive FCO? Will Jane’s personality shine through? Will Liz be more serious this time? Can Chris survive it in Venice?

Also, designer Zac Posen will guest judge and will have the girls wear his fall 2010 Collection for a showdown challenge between “them” aspiring models and professional models.

Next week’s episode is all about versatility. This will test the believability factor of each girls on portraying somebody else. This time, they will be portraying eight of the most iconic fashion designers of our generation. After last week’s shoot by none other than Mr. Patrick Demarchelier; Italian Vogue Franca Sozzani’s son Francesco Carrozzini will shoot the girls paired with professional models.

America’s Next Top Model Cycle 15, Episode 2 with Diane Von Furstenberg

For the second episode of the High Fashion 15th cycle of America’s Next Top Model, the contestants were up to walk for designer Diane Von Furstenberg literally in the air. The catwalk is four story high and they have to show how fierce they are struttin’ DVF’s designs.

Teen star Demi Lovato came for a surprise visit on their first official photoshoot about teen bullying where the models posed wearing a two piece swimsuit with bully words and power words written all over their body.

The panel of judges composed of the old-timers Tyra, Nigel and new judge from last cycle — Andre Leon Talley with Diane Von Furstenberg as the guest judge.

Ann’s photo was deemed the best while Anamaria may not have the worst photo –her attitude towards her body threw the judges off that made her the first girl to pack her stuff off the loft.

The BESTest!

Actress Rachel McAdams is definitely tonight’s big winner on the red carpet wearing Elie Saab creation.

Check this out! JLo never ceased to rock it on the red carpet! she’s wearing an Armani Prive gown.

this is what you call elegance, the 16th time Oscar nominated Meryl Streep wowed everyone with this regal creation of Project Runway alums Chris March.

Kristen Stewart is a first time Oscar attendee rocking a Monique Lhuillier gothic creation!

Kate Winslet can do no wrong with Yves Saint Laurent‘s creation.

FAILED!!!

I cannot for the life of me understand what the rose accent Charlize Theron was wearing on her lumps with her Christian Dior gown.

I love Vera Farmiga in Up In The Air but this Marchesa‘s creation is so over the top and way too busy that you cannot find the best supporting actress nominee.

This Givenchy creation is not just right for Zoe Saldana –there’s something off with it.

First time Best Actress nominee Carey Mulligan didn’t take Vogue’s editor Anna Wintour‘s advise and this was the dreadful results. I’m lovin’ the Prada dress but what’s with the shoes???

I seriously don’t get the whole look of Amanda Seyfried tonight –it’s all too old fashion. It’s probably because JLo already got the better Armani Prive dress.
