My friends and I decided to come up with a theme each day on what we’ll be wearing. It was supposed to be a Glam Tuesday but I fell short of looking glamorous coming to work. Instead, I opted the preppy look of some sort with the touch of glam. I’m wearing local brands from top to bottom.

I was wearing Milanos for my shoes. Lol. I noticed that this is indeed my other signature pose. lol
I also started working out last Monday and I’m trying to eat healthier foods like this veggie salad I had for dinner! Yum! Yum! ( P71 at Robinsons Eastwood)
It is hard resisting the foods I’m used to eating but I really have to. Discipline is the key! I CAN DO THIS!
This episode , we’ll see Stephanie reached her breaking point after her third bottom two appearance last week. The Filipina model is scrambling to stay afloat in the competition despite having the good saving graces of the judges. Will she be able to bounce back and prove to the judges and the audience that she’s still very much in it to win the first Asia’s Next Top Model?
Or will Jessica continuously dominate the competition after getting her third consecutive first call out at last week’s shoot?

It looks like the title of Asia’s Next Top Model is for Jessica of Thailand to lose! Yet again, she got the best photo this week followed by Kate, Sofia and sadly – another bottom two appearance for Stephanie with Aastha. Fortunately though, Stephanie survived another elimination (I wonder if she’s gearing up towards the “Whitney Thompson way,” where she’d win the whole thing despite getting the most bottom appearances? – we’ll see)
A lot of rumors and speculations are spreading around the blogosphere about the young actress “finally” joining the 50th edition of the Binibining Pilipinas. After the first runner-up feat of Janine Tugonon from last year’s Miss Universe, Pinoy netizens and pageant fans alike are already on the lookout for the next representative who could finally win that elusive third Miss Universe crown for the Philippines.
Megan Young, a talent from ABS-CBN, is considered the best representative for the said pageant only if she decides to submit an application first and pass the screening process of the Binibining Pilipinas Organization.
Last year, she was heavily rumored “to join” the national pageant but allegedly backed out up to the last minute for unknown reasons – or maybe this would explain it.
In any case, if ever Miss Young finally decides to join the pageant, I’m pretty sure that she’ll have the utmost advantage of being a celebrity and having legions of pageant fans supporting her, including myself, so best of luck, Megan!
My day job friends and I decided to pass the time awhile ago camwhoring and it was just crazy fun! This is my regular dress down attire at work. I usually wear polo shirts, my hi-cut converse shoes and slim pants – I’m not a big fan of skinny jeans. I reckon I do not look good wearing them. I’m also not a good model, obviously LOL. Posting this kinda irks err… embarrass me haha. Anyhow, I’ve to tell you though that I’ve been buying lots of tees these past few days and I’m not even sure if I could wear them since I’m totally getting big! Oh well… I guess my “crash-diet” did not do me good – I ought to really go to the gym. I’m blabbing right now so I’ve to say gute nacht now and hit the sack!

Sofia made a comeback from her lackluster photo last week having the second best photo. She was followed by Kate and Aastha.

Helena of Hongkong and Stephanie of the Philipppines are in the bottom – both have received lukewarm critiques from the judges and the Hong Kong lass was deemed weaker than the gal from the Philippines so Stephanie get to live another day in the competition while Helena was sent home.
Tonight while having dinner with my friends, we decided to take on a challenge: A 15 days diet which is going to be some sort of a “biggest loser” kind of thing where the person who will be losing the most weight will win the contest, rather the bet! Haha! I would like to post my body pics at this time but my camera isn’t cooperating and I’m thankful for that haha.
Anyways, my game plan starting tomorrow is to AVOID RED MEATS! – I’m actually planning a NO MEAT DIET for the next fifteen days and if it’s effective, I’d probably do it longer. Second, I’d do the no meat diet with the right water intake. I’m not a big “water” drinker. I’m more into juices and soda’s so I think I’d cut the soda part and try to drink water more and maybe fresh juices 🙂 Lastly, I’d only eat veggies and fruits – I will really restrict myself to abide with these game plan / rules. I will be posting the meals / food that I’d be taking for the next fifteen days so expect to be bombarded with food pictures here.
I am no way advising anyone to copy this diet or my plan of losing the pounds I’ve gained over the holiday season – I am no expert and I would appreciate if you can give me some feedback and advices in order for me to win this challenge.
This episode is still about the brewing battle between Helena and Sofia – or not. Whose team are you? At the Red Carpet Challenge – Helena, Kate and Sofia did good but it was Helena who was deemed the best winning a Farah Khan’s dress!
They also have an interesting photoshoot because they all have to wear the same dress! Who’s gonna rock this one?

Are we ready to declare Jessica as the winner of this cycle this early after getting rave reviews from the last two weeks? I’ve honestly think that she’d make a great Top 2 with her great makeover and very versatile look and I’m hoping either Stephanie or Sofia join her for the final runway. That’s just for me though 🙂 What do you think of the non-elimination panel this episode?

Episode 7 is entitled Beauty For A Cause. Their challenge was a make-up challenge easily won by Sofia who chooses Kate to go with her at a spa treatment, the challenge prize.
Nadya mail says “Beauty for a cause is never only skin deep. Tomorrow, you will give back and go back to basics.” The photoshoot was a nature photoshoot for World Wildlife Fund (WWF.)

Jessica finally got her very first call out while Stephanie yet again clinched the second spot! (do we have our final two in these two ladies.) They were followed by Kate, Aastha and Sofia. I’m not very conservative but I somehow find this “Anne Frank – Salute To Freedom” shirt pretty unnerving which is being sold at a local store here in Manila. Aside from the fact that the design’s ugly, the whole use of the imagery was just off. I guess it’s just me but I thought that no creativity was used in the making of this shirt. Looking at it feels all so wrong.

Episode 6 had the eight remaining girls compete for a TRESemme Challenge for a chance to win an all-expense paid trip to New York for the Fashion Week 2013. Whoa! Now, that is huge! They were asked to shoot an online video campaign where they have to style their own hair and write their own scripts! This challenge proved to be the shining moment of Aastha as she delivered her lines so flawlessly and became the most believable for the campaign!
The photoshoot simply requires the girls to look pretty and be a model – it is a beauty shoot! Now, this is my kind of shoot where you get to see who truly are model materials and will shine through without too many props!

Sofia’s photo was declared the best which I totally agree with so congratulations girl! She was followed by Jessica, Stephanie, Aastha, Meliss and Helene. Kate and Rachel found themselves at the bottom with Rachel ultimately getting the boot 😦
