Here’s Miss Universe-Philippines’ Janine Tugonon looking so fierce and hot in her Miss Universe glamor shot also known as her “Fadil Shot” shot by the Miss Universe Organization’s official photographer Fadil Berisha. This in my opinion is one of the best glam shots this edition! It can rival Venus Raj’s 2010 Fadil shot but we all know no one can topped Queen V. 🙂 Things are looking good for Janine based on her candid and official pictures. I’m hoping that these would translate into the prelims and the finals! Go Janine!

Janine Tugonon Evening Gown PortraitHere’s Janine posing for the camera wearing this yellow chiffon beaded gown. In all honesty, this gown isn’t working at all. The color does suit Janine’s skintone but the design is horrific. It looks dated and too heavy for her. I am hoping that she’d use a different evening gown come preliminaries and finals night just like what Venus and Shamcey did during their stints.

The Miss Universe Organization officially announced on their site that our very own Miss Universe 2011 third runner-up Shamcey Supsup was chosen to host the web series of this year’s Miss Universe 2012 aptly titled “On The Scene” bringing the pageant’s fans  exclusive  behind the scenes footage of the events leading to the finals on December 19.

Miss Universe 2012 Is Back In Las Vegas!!!

The Miss Universe Organization just confirmed that this year’s Miss Universe will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino on December 19. This would be the fourth time the city is hosting the most prestigious beauty pageant in the world!

Will our very own Janine Tugonon get the same support Venus Raj received in 2010 where she placed 4th runner-up? I think Yes!

So see you in Vegas folks!!!

Miss Venezuela’s Romina Palmisano is Victoria’s Secret Newest Angel!

Hailing from beauty pageant powerhouse Venezuela, Romina Palmisano represented Carabobo and placed in the top 10 during the 2010 Miss Venezuela where she also won the Miss Personality award – this may be a big factor aside from her obvious demigod beauty and out of this world body why she was chosen to be one of Victoria’s Secret newest Angels. She may not have won the crown during the Miss Venezuela 2010 but Romina is destined for greatness as the first Venezuelan beauty queen turned into an “Angel.”

She is currently with Elite Model – Miami Division. Check her board here.
