This without question is one of the best sequels of any series I’ve ever read in this genre. In this second installment of the THIRDS series, we see how Sloane slowly lowers his guard to really let our sweet boy Dex into his life while courageously facing his past that keeps on haunting him.
When a series of bombs go off in a Therian youth center, injuring members of THIRDS Team Destructive Delta, and causing a rift between agents Dexter J. Now this is what I was talking about when I said that this couple [Dex & Sloane] is bound to become the newest power couple of this genre. Dex’s funny antics are just all swoon-worthy that I feel like giggling every time he opens his mouth. [That karaoke scene was like the cutest, most adorable, funniest thing EVER!]. I also loved the fact that Sloane mellowed down a little because Dexie baby deserves more loving!!
It’s also a pleasure getting more out of the rest of Sloane’s team – that is mostly, the rest of secondary characters. Cael, Ash, Hobbs, Calvin et al. I already feel so attached with everyone!
I don’t think I could say more without spoilering it with you guys. So I suggest you grab a copy of the first and second installment of this series and finally get your know-how on the newest craze that is the THIRDS series.
