Since I love watching a few Next Top Model series (esp Australia, the US and Asia), I thought of posting The Philippines’ very own version of the hit reality modeling competition. The first Philippines’ Next Top Model first aired in 2007 broadcasted by the now defunct RPN 9. It was hosted by Ruffa Guttierez and the judges includes Wilma Doesn’t, Pauline Sauco-Juan, Robby Carmona, Vince Uy and Xander Angeles. The winner of this cycle “won” a modeling representation with Starz People Hong Kong, an editorial fashion spread in Preview Magazine, US$10,000 c/o Mane and TailShampoo, a P150,000 modeling contract with SAGA Events, a one-year local endorsement campaign from L’Oreal Paris, one-year complimentary treatments from Marie France and Facial Care Center and a south sea pearl necklace from Jewelmer, and the title “Jewelmer’s Amabassador to the World.” – that’s a whole lot of prize to be honest! Of course, we already know the winner of this so far “only” cycle of Philippines’ Next Top Model but won’t it be great to take a glimpse again of the photo shoots our own version had? First, I present to you the name of the 14 finalists.

Is this the start of Shanali domination? Like what I’ve said about her last week’s amazing photo, she could very well be the winner of this season. Abbie and Melissa – you gotta bring it girls!
Trailing not so far behind is this girl whom I think is Shanali’s biggest competition in all aspect. This girl is a PROPER model!
Dajana’s still not giving me that WOW moment. girl’ step it up!
Now, what a disappointment. This is not a good shot at all from Duckie. What went wrong boo?
A lagging frontrunner. Melissa needs to catch up big time pre-final 4!
This has to be Shannon’s best shot to date! #cameltoealert
Old Jade’s back. BORING.
A well-deserved elimination. Oops!
Duckie’s one of my favorite girls in the competion and I’m happy that she finally won photo of the week!
She’s the client choice and is now the face of Colgate Optic White Ad Campaign! Good job Jade! Do I like this photo? Nah.
Dajana’s looking great here and her smile doesn’t look force at all. I told you guys, she’s got something!
Shanali reminds me of the exotic beauty of Sam back in Cycle 4. Shanali may very well be the winner of this cycle if she continue to produce amazing shot like this!
This is just awkward. Shannon needs to go next. She has no variety.
Bottom two with Shannon next week please!
Abbie’s becoming a force in the competition. She’s slowly gunning her prowess to conquer this cycle! Slowly but surely…
This isn’t a good shot of Melissa at all and do you guys think they’re sabotaging her photos? Methink so.
I was never a fan of Madeline until this shot came out. Here, I see a beautiful commercial / high fashion model and I think it’s more decent than Shannon. Too little too late for her? Sadly, yes. So long Miss Madeline!
This was the episode where Taylah got disqualified. It was a similarly shocking call-outs as the two frontrunners in the competition (Duckie and Melissa) were at the bottom and could’ve been eliminated! #OMG!
Well, I guess the makeover works in their favor! It’s not my favorite shot at all and I still find them a little boring but hey, judges knows best!
This isn’t a good photo at all and Ashley’s rocking this one so hard that yes – she outshone Melissa here!
This isn’t good at all. They could’ve kick Shanali out as well.
This was a pretty decent shot and I thought Dajana’s working it big time here!
I totally love this shot and I thought it’s one of the best this season! Abbie’s growing on me and Duckie is continuously dominating the competition. It was a joke that Duckie’s at the bottom. Cmon’
