Review: Texas Pride – Kindle Alexander

This was another novel from Kindle Alexander which I thoroughly enjoyed. It’s not as intense as Always but it has the right ingredients to be considered a good novel. Texas Pride centers on Austin Grainger, a two-time Academy Award winning actor who turn his back from the glitz and glamour of Hollywood wanting to settle down and find peace from it. He decided to go back to his hometown in Texas where he purchase a land and thought that this is where he will find that life he’s been cravin’ for until he laid eyes on Kitt Kelly. Kitt’s the young, sexy and closeted ranch owner who sold him his land and lives next door. As they get to know each other and fell in love, they also find themselves in compromising situations which threatens both their status and what they feel for each other.

I love how Kindle Alexander writes her novels. She’s very consistent in delivering a smooth sailing story. I love the pacing of this story and the characters are well-developed. I love that each has certain characteristics. I love that you could easily remember them. I also love how Austin and Kitt does not beat around the bush making it possible for the story development to progress more which in turn will give richness to the story.

So far, I’ve read two titles from this author and I’m on my third one – in less than three days!!!! I’m very much impressed that I can tell. What an achievement to have produced two exceptionally well-written novels. I can’t wait to read more from her – she’s worthy buying after all.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars
