Triple Send-Off for Rachel, Katarina and Chanel!

The remaining Binibining Pilipinas 2017 Queens who are about to compete in their respective international pageants were given their official send-off this afternoon at the Monet Ballroom of Novotel Manila-Araneta Center.

Miss Universe Philippines Rachel Peters is set to compete in Las Vegas on November 26 while Chanel Olive Thomas will be heading on the second of November in Poland. And finally but not definitely not the least, is Katarina Rodriguez who will be traveling to Colombo, Sri Lanka come December 21 in her quest to win the country’s first Miss Intercontinental title.

The said send-off was sort of a welcome party as well for Nelda Ibe who came in 2nd at the Miss Globe in Albania and Elizabeth Clenci who placed 2nd runner-up in Miss Grand International. Only Mariel de Leon is missing amongst the crowned Binibinis this year since she’s currently competing in Japan in the hopes of a back-to-back Miss International win!

Best of lucks girls!!! Mabuhay kayong lahat!

Vietnam’s Do Tran Khanh Ngan wins Miss Globe 2017 While PH’s bet Nelda Ibe snatched 1st Runner-up!

After a couple of weeks of whirlwind pageant activities in Tirana, Albania – Do Tran Khanh Ngan of Vietnam was adjudged the winner of this year’s edition of Miss Globe amongst 53 delegates from across continents.

Our very own pilot beauty Queen Nelda Ibe bagged the runner-up honors with Siberia’s Elena Latypova finishing 3rd overall. Completing the top 5 are host delegate Alessia Coku of Albania and Cabo Verde’s Simone Heijlihers finishing 4th and 5th respectively.

Reps from Armenia, Canada, Thailand, USA, Italy, Denmark, Hungary, Estonia, Macedonia and Ghana are also part of the semifinalists this year.

Philippines’ Nelda Ibe’s National Costume for Miss Globe 2017!

Here’s another unique national costume donned by one of our Philippine delegates in the international pageant. This time, it’s the pilot beauty queen Nelda Ibe now competing at the 43rd Miss Globe beauty pageant in Albania.

This Sampaguita and Ilang-Ilang inspired costume was the creation of fashion designer Frederick Berches.

In my opinion, it’s not as spectacular as Karen Ibasco’s Filipiniana costume but I loved that the designer incorporated the fragrant ilang-ilang flower into this piece! It’s quite refreshing to be honest! And kudos to our designers showcasing their talents in the international stage! Bravo!

Pilot Beauty Queen Nelda Ibe is ready to conquer Albania!

It is such a busy month for pageants fans and pundits because of the simultaneous staging of different beauty pageants this month virtually all over the world.

One of these pageant is the Miss Globe which is currently being held in the southern European country of Albania. Binibining Pilipinas – Globe also known as our Pilot Beauty Queen Nelda Ibe has safely arrived a few days ago and is already making her presence felt in the competition. Nelda  was recently chosen as one of the delegates who will be showcasing their talents. I’m not entirely sure how this would affect her standing in the competition but ya’ll know that it doesn’t hurt to be noticed.

So to Nelda, bring back the crown to the country! Mabuhay ka!
