The plot is fairly simply here. The Trouble – Gavin Walker meets The Wallflower Davy Cooper and the chase is on! It was actually uber-cute like bubblegum pop kinda cute where the bad naughty boy is trying to get into the pants of that one person who doesn’t give him the time of day. The story here was well-developed though I feel that it was rushed towards the end.
And for some reason, their sexual issues (sexual compatibility) early on really bothers me more than anything else in the book. It shouldn’t have but it does with me. (Oh what a pervy boo-hoo LOL) I couldn’t let go of it. That got me into thinking that their intimacy was rather forced especially at the end when Gavin and Davy finally did it. Why did Gavin have to wait for so long to bring up that particular issue? Or maybe I’m just making an issue out of it. But really, I adored this couple.
I loved the unpredictability of the story. I was thinking of more issues to come from Nate, Uncle Drew and even Maz and I’m sure glad they never materialized. It was a really good story and the ending was pleasantly surprising if I may say – that was like 180 degree turn for the MCs. I think you guys should really give this a try, and to Kade – please consider writing a series out of this book – I totally adore Gavin’s friends!!!
