
UP Fine Arts student Danica Magpantay claimed the title of Ford Supermodel of the World-Philippines last Sunday,October 31st at the Mall of Asia Main Atrium to represent the country at the Ford Supermodel of the World Finals next year. She battled it out with 12 other hopefuls who’s age ranges from 14-21. She also won the ESAC Runway award.
First and second runner-up went to Sha Whitaker and Kim Fernandez respectively. Minor awards were given to Zane Espejon as the winner of the posing competition and Jane Pouler as the most photogenic.
She succeeded now Ford Model Charlene Almarvez who almost got the international title at the 2010 Ford Supermodel of the World.
Danica also happened to be the daughter of a former Supermodel of the World-Philippine delegate Lala Flores who won the Crest Best Smile Award at the international competition.
