Danica Magpantay Wins Ford Supermodel Of The World!

After the runner-up feat set by Charlene Almarvez in 2010, this year’s Philippine rep Danica Flores Magpantay was able to snag the Ford Supermodel Of The World Title (a first for the Philippines) held in New York City. Models from Lithuania and Poland are the runners-up with Brazil and Estonia completing the 5 Finalist.

If we recall, Danica’s Mom, Lala Flores was a previous representative of the country who won the Crest Best Smile Award in the international competition at that time.

Danica will now be under Ford Models with a $250,000 modeling contract.

Charlene Louise Alagon Almarvez also known as Chat Almarvez in the fashion industry is a young native of Laguna, Philippines who was hailed the runner-up in this year’s Ford Supermodel of The World held in Brazil (January 2010). This 17 year old lass is now under Ford Models agency who signed her with a whopping $150,000 contract.

In recent years, we have the likes of Verns Buckley, Charo Ronquillo strutting their stuff in the international runway (both are products of Ford Supermodel Of the World)

Now, this young Filipina is without question leading the pact with the mission to conquer the fashion world, once again proving that Asians are one of the most beautiful women in the planet.
