This is not a review per se but more of a ‘thank you’ post to Jay Bell’s generosity for us fans of the “Something Like” series. It’s another Timmy and Ben shorty you guys, and it’s FREE! Generous yeah? I’m a big Tim Wyman fanboy so everything about my book boyfriend, I will eat like a 2.50 peso kwek-kwek in the streets of Quezon City!
So this short story is about their upcoming anniversary – a highly debated topic between them because they cannot seem to agree with the date! I know right??! But guys, this is a big deal because it’s Tim and Ben ya’ll. These two are the royalty / power couple of the Something Like Universe.
Okay, so how do I find it? Well, I freaking loved it! Well, anything with Timmy is a sure hit for me so there’s that. There’s also the “Orlando shooting” incorporated into the story which resonated deeply with the couple since they’ve also been a victim of gun violence once in their lives. My heart will continually bleed for the 49 darling angels who’ve lost their lives because of the hatred of a soulless lunatic. Truly heartbreaking!
This freebie is yet again a wonderful gift from Jay and I want to thank him from the bottom of my heart. Best wishes to you and Andreas – may you always be happy and continue on being an inspiration for us single gay guys who are looking for that one true love that we may hope to find someday.
Happy Pride! Salamat!
