I received this phone, the MyPhone my28s as a gift and have been using it for about a week now and I’m very much satisfied with it.
Let me tell you first that I’m basically clueless about the different MyPhone models prior to this one so I won’t even try to do comparisons. Yup, sorry!
What’s inside the box?
MyPhone my28s specs includes 4-inc WVGA display, a 4GB internal memory card and is expandable up to 32GB via microSD and is equipped with Android 5.0 Lollipop version. It has 5MP rear camera and 2MP front camera both with LED flashes. Very selfie friendly no? It has WiFi, Bluetooth and 1450mAH battery. Not too bad!

For a phone worth less than a thousand pesos (that is less than $20,) I’d say it’s a pretty neat deal already. The Smart prepaid Sim that comes with it includes pre-loaded apps like iflix and Spinnr, fre 100MB/moth for 1 year, P30/month of load rebates for 1 year for every accumulated top-up of P100/month and another prepaid TalkNText Simcard!
So far, the only thing I’m worrying about is the battery life of the unit because I’ve been using it most of the time for the past week streaming (thru iflix) and on my social media, I always have to keep the charger handy. For now tho, if you’re planning to buy this phone as a back-up, a gift (it’d be a great birthday or graduation gift this season) or you just want to own your very own smart phone with a very affordable price, then this one’s for you!
