Here are the official photos of Nicole Maturan Schmitz, Philippines rep to this year’s Miss International beauty pageant to be held in Okinawa, Japan on October 21. Schmitz is expected to make waves in Japan as this would be the first time since 2007 that the pageant will be held in a non-Chinese territory where some pageant fans from the Philippines theorized that the political rift between the two countries (PHL and PRC) greatly affected the chances of our previous delegates eg., Krista Kleiner and Melody Gersbach to clinch the crown.
With these initial photo releases, is Nicole destined to bring the fifth Miss International crown for the Philippines? What do you think folks?
