Relive the historical winning of Megan Young last night as she clinched this year’s Miss World title! Megan was proclaimed the winner out of 127 competing delegates in a month long pageant held in Bali, Indonesia.
Young automatically became Miss World Asia a.k.a Continental Queen of Asia. While’s France’s Marine Lorphelin (1st runner up) is the Continental Queen of Europe, Carranzar Shooter (2nd runner up) of Ghana for Africa, Gina Hargitay (top 10 semifinalist) for the Carribean and Sancler Franz of Brazil (Top 4-6) was the Continental Queen of the Americas. Rounding up the Top 10 are Miss Spain Elena Ibarbia (top 4-6), Maroua Kharbouch (Top 4-6) of Gibraltar having voted as the People’s choice, Erin Holland of Australia, Ishani Shresta of Nepal and Kirsty Heslewood of England.
The 23 year old Filipino-American beauty queen is the first Philippine delegate to win the Miss World beauty pageant.
