I was not a big fan of 2011 Binibining Pilipinas first runner-up Janine Tugonon’s decision in joining the Binibining Pilipinas this year because I do not think that she was ready. If I’m being honest, I’d say that she’s not in good shape during the national pageant in April and I was a bit frustrated that she won the most important title of the evening. I was rooting for another candidate then and went home disappointed. ‘Lo and behold though, after seven months of rigorous training – Janine went from being a clapper to a possible winner in this year’s Miss Universe to be held in Las Vegas, Nevada on December 19.
Janine’s beauty reminds me of Miss Universe 1999 first runner-up Miriam Quiambao and her mannerisms are that of Miss Universe 2011 third runner-up Shamcey Supsup which I think will be a lethal combination come next month.
Here are the latest glam shots of Janine showing her new curves and queenly aura! Is Janine destined to be our country’s third Miss Universe or will she be able to achieve the success of Venus and Shamcey placing in the top five from the last two edition of the pageant? All I can do is wish her good luck and offer my prayer that she may bring honor to our country! Mabuhay ka Janine!

I think Miss Philippines has improved so much but given her fierce competition all over the world, she will definitely have a hard time penetrating the top 16 if not for the sash factor. Just my two cents. goofluck!
she is oerverrated i think because there are a lot of contestants who are prettier than her. she will clapp hard thats for sure
