Muse Of The Month: Arizona Muse

Arizona is one of my favorite American models. She’s funky, unusual and very rare – that is because she doesn’t look like any other models! This 23 year old model skyrocketed to fame when she turned into a brunette with a jaw-line haircut. You know what they say about the power of hair! Haha That was just last year when she started to get noticed tremendously.

Arizona was born in Tucson, Arizona in 1988 and had a little son named Nikko.

This captivating lady was also a favorite in the runway walking for Emilio Pucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Dsquared²,  Lanvin, Christian Dior, Chanel, MiuMiu, Louis Vuitton, Elie Saab, Jason Wu and a lot more…

and as of press time, Arizona is the most featured model in my blog! Yay!

Muse Of The Month: Caroline Trentini

Elle and Vogue covers c/o models.com

I have always been a big fan of Brazilian models and have featured them heavily here.  And this time, I can’t help but pay homage yet again to another Brazilian beauty whom I’ve been following since last year. I am not big on names – I have my favorites and when I started browsing Caroline’s magazine editorials, I was just blown away! Her features reminds me of Twiggy and Kate Moss combined for some reason.

Caroline Aparecida Trentini was born on July 6, 1987. She was of Italian and German descent. She was from Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil and moved to  São Paulo when she was scouted by the same agent who discovered the richest supermodel in the world, Gisele Bundchen.

She got her big greak when she came to New York and was casted by Marc Jacobs in his Marc by Marc Jacobs ad campaign.

In 2005, She made her debut as one of the Victoria’s Secret Angels and have walked the show in 2006  and 2009.

She was also featured in the American Vogue along with other models including Doutzen Kroes, Jessica Stam, Raquel Zimmermann, Sasha Pivovarova, Agyness Deyn, Coco Rocha, Hilary Rhoda, Chanel Iman, and Lily Donaldson and were named “World’s Next Top Models.”

She is currently under Women Management after leaving her original agency Marilyn in 2009 and IMG New York just a year after.

Ain’t she worth it?  (^_^)

Muse Of The Month: Amy Winehouse

You Will Forever Be Remembered Fierce Mama.

Rest Now Beautiful.

He left no time to regret
Kept his dick wet
With his same old safe bet
Me and my head high
And my tears dry
Get on without my guy
You went back to what you knew
So far removed from all that we went through
And I tread a troubled track
My odds are stacked
I’ll go back to black

We only said good-bye with words
I died a hundred times
You go back to her
And I go back to…..

I go back to us

I love you much
It’s not enough
You love blow and I love puff
And life is like a pipe
And I’m a tiny penny rolling up the walls inside

We only said goodbye with words
I died a hundred times
You go back to her
And I go back to

Black, black, black, black, black, black, black,
I go back to
I go back to

We only said good-bye with words
I died a hundred times
You go back to her
And I go back to

We only said good-bye with words
I died a hundred times
You go back to her
And I go back to black

“I made a conscious decision to try to tone down the sexiness, I want people—especially young girls—to know that in life, nothing is going to be based on sex appeal. You’ve got to have something else to go with that.” -Nicki

Muse Of The Month: Kate Middleton

April is the Royal Wedding month that we’ve all been waiting for since the announcement of the engagement of Prince William to long time girlfriend Kate Middleton.  We just love this girl! she’s fashionable, elegant, she look nice and she’s really beautiful!

Kate Middleton, a future Duchess is set to tie the knot with Prince William on the 29th of this month at the Westminster Abbey. She may not be that young for a traditional Princess but she will definitely make her own legacy as she makes her way to the hearts of her people and to the world.

We just totally love everything about her. Her style is modern chick meets class. We just love how she reminds us so much of Princess Diana, a fashion icon herself.

Here’s to more Royal Fashion! ♥

Without question the most successful winner of any Top Model series to date, Alice Burdeu of Australia’s Next Top Model Season 3 is back in the international scene with a vengeance! After her stunning debut at the New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2008 Collection, Alice made a decision to cool it off for a while even after being named by Models.com’s one of the Top 10 Best Newcomer of the season in February 2008.

Muse Of The Month: Selena Gomez

Selena has always been one of our favorite young fashionistas on TV and everytime we see her on the red carpet, gUrl is getting more stunning! Dressing up her age and looking like a class-act is what she’s all about that is why we’re so in love with her.

Muse Of The Month: Amanda Brohman

My Muse Of The Month Post was delayed due to some unfortunate circumstances but It’s for a good reason because I’m able to find the rightful Muse to feature, ending this good year of 2010!

D.O.B:  March 8, 1994

16 Year Old Amanda Brohman who hails from Sweden is the chosen one! I’m so impressed with how well she translate her thoughts into her fashion. A very smart fashionista; and with her young age, I’m sure that she’ll evolve more into a fiercer trend-setting guru!

You can be smart while you wear the latest trends. And that fashion is a form of art, the art we live our lives in. Every day, regardless of age, regardless of appearance. – Amanda.

Here’s our exclusive online interview with Amanda

What Is Your Usual Garbs?
I don’t have any usual garbs, I really don’t. I can wear a cute skirt or dress one day, and the next a pair of baggy jeans: and I think that shows off in my looks, I never look the same.
Where Do You Get Your Inspirations?
From everywhere! From fashion magazines as well as from my gorgeous, stylish friends – I swear, they are so much more stylish than me! And I’m also inspired by various movies, my latest look was (for example) inspired by “The French Lieutenant’s Woman” – amazing movie and amazing costume design!
Who Are Your Favorite Designers?
I am a very diverse fashionista, I guess. I mix clothes from H&M , Monki and TopShop with vintage goodies and desginers such as Acne and Whyred. I adore Acne’s clothes – they are very revolutionary in their way of creating new clothes, they mix the traditional and sofisticated with the crazy, futuristic and minimalistic trends- I always feel comfortable wearing their clothes.
Also, classic designers such as Chanel and Lanvin are among my favourites!
Who are your fave models?
I’m not sure I have any favourite models, I’m not very good at model names (unfortunately!) – mostly I’m inspired by actresses and other bloggers. I love the “Gossip Girls” , the “Sex and the City girls” as well as more classic actresses such as Katherine Hepburn and Meryl Streep: they both have really classy styles. And Meryl is one of those who knows how to dress for her age, without looking old: and that’s sooo inspiring, for a young fashionista: style at every age.
What Are Your Fave Shows?
Well, “Sex and the City” of course! How can you be a fashionista and not love that show? Also, I love Project Runway – a really great show, inspirirng reality show.

What Are The Three Things That Are Always in Your Purse?
Hm…well, that’s tough one. I always carry my iPhone with me(I have my whole life in it, basically: it’s my brain, I need it.), a goodlipstick or lipgloss and my credit card – because I always find the best fashion items when I’m not planning to buy anything.

Isn’t she amazing?!?
