Revisiting Island Waters Resort – Under the Overcast Weather of Morong, Bataan (July) 2013

Three months after visiting Island Waters for the first time with my friends, I found myself enjoying the oh-so-sweet hospitality of this place again. This time, I’m with my “family” at work – the ever-so-adventurous Team Mona a.k.a Chicago Bears! It was Bert and I who encouraged the team to have our “team building” here.

The travel time isn’t easy this time. We got off Cubao at around 4:30-ish and we arrived in Olongapo City at around 8PM and had to wait for the mini-bus for almost two hours. ‘Good thing Larry and Bujawe kept us entertained o_O (luv you boos!) What an amazing couple!

We arrived in the resort at around 11PM and we’re just all so starving – good thing we have our “baon” courtesy of Bert – the Adobo’s the best thing I’ve tasted that time! Haha. To make up for the arduous travel on our way here – we’re surprised to be given the VIP rooms (we just like calling them VIP rooms since they’re the best rooms in the resorts LOL)

We got into action right away by trying out their videoke machine. Man’ I know everyone’s tired but we won’t let the night passed by without us singing our hearts out! Haha! The resort that night had this lucid feel about it, perhaps because of the weather and the sound of the splashing waves that is making me feel (on a personal note) somehow melancholic.

Nirlu's quality time and pep talk with the Morong Beach!

We slept at around 4:30AM and woke up after just about two hours – beat that! That’s what you call super power-nap!
